Senior Procurement Manager

To support their continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to drive the commercial relationships, manage key supply chain activities and work closely with our distribution and supply partners.

You will have a broad set of responsibilities relating to raw materials and consumer product procurement as well as a strong understanding of local and international supply chain management.

The role reports to the executive management team. The core responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Manager are

· Manage existing & new product ranges

· Select, evaluate, and manage vendor partnerships

· Supplier price negotiation balancing total cost and quality

· Sourcing and managing a large number of SKUs from overseas manufacturers

· Identification of New Product Opportunities through Market Research and Analysis

There is an established support team in Australia with eleven people responsible for assisting Product Management, Demand Planning, Purchase Orders, Graphic Design, Expediting, and Shipping.

We are seeking commercially minded candidates with 10-plus years of experience in overseas Sourcing and Supplier Management.

Degree qualifications are essential and further supply chain-related studies such as APICS or CIPSA will be considered favourably. Experience in engineering or building supplies, hardware, or safety products could be helpful.

The company has 10 distribution centres, 3 NATA Accredited Quality Control laboratories, and 2 manufacturing facilities across Australia, New Zealand, and China.
