Job description

We are assisting our client, a Government Owned Corporation to source a Senior Program Support Analyst and a Portfolio Support Officer, for a large transformative ERP EAM Program.

Both roles are part of the Digital Portfolio Support Team, who are responsible for the delivery of ICT projects for the organisation and its subsidiaries.

Senior Program Support Analyst

Working as the Program Support Analyst within the ERP EAM Program Transformation Management Office, you will be responsible for supporting the management and governance of the Digital program of work which is aligned with the strategic direction and funding of the organisation.
As part of your role, you will provide technical support through the entire life cycle, including governance, funding, performance, reporting and system administration for the program of work.

Technical Requirements include:

  • Under guidance from the TMO Lead, assist in the management and reporting on Program budgets and expenditure, in consultation with Project Managers and Program Managers;
  • Provide system administration to program applications to ensure appropriate access, effective and accurate processing, data integrity and system updating;
  • Develop, maintain and deliver training and education to Program resources;
  • Assist in the collation and co-ordination of critical forecasting, tracking and reporting of the Digital program; and
  • Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding and off-boarding of resources into the Digital Program.

Selection Criteria:

  • A professional with a Tertiary Qualification in IT, Business, Finance, Accounting or a relevant discipline. Alternatively, you hold the equivalent qualification and demonstrated competence appropriate to the position;
  • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and budgeting processes and the preparation of stakeholder reports detailing the portfolio and program health and supported by analysis and customer focused explanations of challenges, risks and benefits realisation;
  • Significant knowledge of portfolio and investment processes and systems and the ability to implement strategies designed to maximise sustainable value to the organisation;
  • Knowledge and experience in program, project management and delivery methodologies demonstrating skills of delivering successful outcomes meeting governance and compliance obligations; and
  • Significant demonstrated experience in analysing and modelling complex project financials, interpreting results, drawing meaningful conclusions and producing quality reports.

Portfolio Support Analyst

Technical Requirements include:

  • Provide support as required to key project personnel;
  • Organise requirements gathering workshops and various project meetings including the recording of minutes and the distribution of papers;
  • Maintain Project SharePoint sites and document repositories;
  • Be responsible for documenting, updating and communicating project risks, issues, dependencies and decisions;
  • Assist in the collation of business, technical and project documentation, including end user requirements;
  • Assist in the preparation of project status reports using the Digital Project Management tool and processes;
  • Support the development, maintenance, monitoring and reporting on schedules; and
  • Assist the Project Managers with tracking the project budgets and conducting financial reconciliations.

Selection Criteria:

  • Experience in providing support to management, prioritisation of work and multi tasking in a dynamic environment;
  • Advanced skills and experience in using the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint;
  • High level understanding of project management processes and methodologies;
  • Demonstrated ability to construct and maintain project related documents, including financial documentation; and
  • Experience in co-ordinating meetings, presentations, workshops and information sessions both within and external to Digital Office.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in using Project Management Tools e.g. MS Project and / or Artemis; and
  • Comprehensive experience in financial information reporting.
