Job Descriptions
One of our clients, a leading developer specializes in Utility Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Solar projects is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to play a crucial role in identifying, acquiring, and securing project for in BESS and Solar projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in initiating and successfully completing BESS and Solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Initiation: Lead the identification and evaluation of potential BESS and Solar projects, assessing feasibility, and developing business cases.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, government agencies, investors, and local communities.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and manage financial models to assess project viability, ROI, and economic feasibility.
• Project Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Permitting and Compliance: Navigate regulatory processes, secure necessary permits, and ensure compliance with environmental and governmental regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Project Completion: Oversee the execution of BESS and Solar projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in initiating and managing BESS and Solar projects, with a demonstrated track record of project completion.
• Strong understanding of renewable energy Project Development, including knowledge of BESS and Solar technologies.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis.
