About the Project & Opportunity:
Acciona has been awarded the Design & Construct contract for the Singleton Bypass. This major project will see construction of 8km of single lane highway with 6 bridge structures and upgrades to local intersections. This diverse and challenging project has a 2.5-year program ensuring longevity in your role and presenting opportunities to grow within the business.

As a result, we're currently recruiting a full-time, permanent SeniorProject Engineer to oversee and manage Structures to achieve the delivery of this iconic project.

Reporting to our Construction Manager, the scope of the role will see you:

• Work with our design teams to provide overall feedback and constructability reviews
• Lead and manage a team of experienced engineers;
• Support and provide technical assistance to our supervisors and superintendents
• Oversee and manage the procurement of plant, equipment and resources;
• Provide regular reporting including end of month cost reviews and reporting;
• Work with our project controls team to provide feedback or works completed and upcoming works planning
• Ensure overall quality management including all necessary documentation;
• Work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders, subcontractors and local community groups to achieve a best for project and best for community outcome.

Competencies we are after:

• Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills. You may also have:
• A tertiary qualification in engineering or equivalent; You may be an experienced Senior Project Engineer looking for your next role or an established Project Engineer ready to take that next step up.
• Experience influencing and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes whilst develop strong working relationships.
