Exciting opportunity for a senior psychologist psychotherapist to provide clinical leadership and psychotherapeutic thinking to Monash Health Mental Health Program.
This role is for an experienced psychologist-psychotherapist who is skilled in the provision of psychotherapy to consumers diagnosed with a personality disorder and who is interested in driving change through systemic interventions and secondary consultation. With your foundation being a commitment to public health, we look to you to join and develop this high functioning team.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that thinks therapeutically and provides psychotherapy. The job involves applying a formulation-based approach to complex problems, supporting mental health program colleagues and leading and driving change and improvement in the care provided to frequent presenting consumers.

About You
You are ready to focus on your interest and experience in working with consumers diagnosed with a personality and/or complex presentations and are interested in supporting your colleagues to improve their care and support of these consumers. You are:
  • Experienced in the provision of psychotherapy and psychological treatment for personality disorders
  • Committed to a therapeutic and formulation informed approach
  • Interested in developing your secondary consultation skills and experience
  • An active, assertive clinician with a
What You Need:
  • Current AHPRA PsyBA registration as a psychologist
  • Clinical psychology or forensic psychology endorsement with PsyBA
  • At least 8 years’ experience as a registered psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy or psychological treatment to consumers diagnosed with a personality disorder
  • Demonstrated experience working with consumers with complex presentations such as cognitive impairments, co-morbidities and/or forensic backgrounds
