Join our growing team and contribute your unique perspective and expertise to drive the advancement of our solutions. You'll play a crucial role in both supporting existing solutions and spearheading the development of new ones. Reporting to the Test and Release Manager, you'll have the opportunity to uplift our QA function while working closely with creative and motivated teams to deliver high-quality, innovative products for both local and international markets.
Your primary duties entail, but are not restricted to:
- Utilise agile, sprint-based methodologies to drive efficient workflow
- Demonstrate leadership by taking ownership of tasks, resolving issues, and escalating when necessary
- Exhibit strong analytical skills and initiative to listen, analyse, and take action
- Leverage extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance practices
- Develop and implement automation frameworks to streamline testing processes
- Manage multiple projects and goals effectively through superior time management skills
- Communicate effectively through both written and oral channels
- Build strong interpersonal relationships through rapport-building, active listening, and effective questioning techniques
- Maintain thorough documentation of processes and outcomes
To thrive in this role, you should bring:
- Experience in managing customer-facing web applications
- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Postman, Robot Framework, Jest, Mocha, and Chrome Driver
- Familiarity with Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) activities, including test case preparation, execution, and bug reporting
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, with a preference for AWS
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git and GitOps
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, NodeJS, Python, and Lua
- Desirable but not essential technical skills:
- CI/CD pipeline skills (e.g. GitLab, Github Actions, Jenkins, etc)
- Experience with automation for load and security testing
