GenesisCare is looking for a Senior Radiation Therapist to join out Shepparton Clinic, Victoria on a Full Time basis. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality. The Senior Radiation Therapist holds a recognised area of expertise with the expectation skills will be maintained and expertise extended to be a resource and a mentor at all times.

More specifically, you will:
- Personally undertake radiation therapy pre-treatment and quality assurance responsibilities and associated duties
- Contributes towards the development and implementation of new treatment approaches or techniques.
- Demonstrates timely and appropriate clinical and technical decision making skills and ensures care uncompromised at all times.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and competence in the delivery of complex radiation treatment techniques including CT and associated imaging modalities
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services
- Demonstrated effective time management skills
- Demonstrated effective communication skills
- Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services
- Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy)
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA
