What’s the role?
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Registered Conveyancer to join our close-knit and collaborative team on a full-time or almost full-time basis. As part of this role, you’ll efficiently manage residential and commercial client files from beginning to end in a senior capacity, providing support to the Director and the team with your expertise. You’ll also be our in-house expert on land divisions with an ability to manage all aspects of those transactions independently.
While no two days will look the same, you can expect to be responsible for:
- Management of the conveyancing process for allocated files, ensuring that the process runs smoothly for all parties
- Growing and nurturing your relationship with clients, colleagues and other external stakeholders including real estate agents, brokers and banks
- Preparation of electronic payments using PEXA to complete settlements and payments of outstanding rates and taxes
- Using online platforms and portals to conduct searches, lodge applications and documents
- Demonstrate full compliance with regulations governing Trust Account use and operation
- Printing, collating, and ensuring professional presentation of client documentation to the point of client delivery
What are our non-negotiables?
Aside from an enthusiastic and professional nature, you’ll also have:
- Demonstrated experience with land division transactions and a desire to continue working in this area
- A current Conveyancing License and significant experience with residential and commercial files
- Experience using PEXA and online platforms to conduct searches and lodge applications
- A sound understanding of Trust Account regulations
