We are looking for motivated and ambitious individual to take on the position for a Roof plumber. You will be specializing in roof plumbing and metal roofing, dealing with commercial, government & heritage project sites. If you like engaging with people and helping clients solve their problems, then this role is perfect for you!
The role
Working closely with our team of estimators, you will be working on roofing projects as a leading hand Roof plumber for commercial customers and occasionally residential works, specializing in metal roof plumbing.
Our client base is throughout Sydney area and Government sites & Schools which requires employee’s to be highly professional whilst working on these projects.
Duties include but not limited to
- Roof plumbing installations, maintenance and repair works
- Sound knowledge of lead standards and safe work practices
- Installation, maintenance and repair of roof guttering, downpipes, pitched roof vents, flashing, capping's, dormers, box gutters, cladding
- Measuring and cutting roofing materials to drawing specs
- Working out materials needed and organising delivery to site in line with project timelines
- Following work health and safety standards at all times
- Using ladders and other high work equipment correctly and in a safe manner
- Working with other trades onsite to coordinate in line with work schedules
- Assisting team members to maintain efficiency in job completion within required time frames
- Thorough knowledge with roofing & cladding products
- Accurately receiving deliveries of material to designated projects
- Conduct site audits and manage quality control
- Report / Photo writing to keep on top of project progress
- Reading plans and drawings to plan and set out work
- Safety measures to be applied at all times
- Cert III equivalent trade qualifications or at least 2 years relevant work experience

- Roofing experience minimum 10 years
- Working at heights
- White card
- EWP ticket
- First aid (willing to obtain)
- Own tools
- Australian Citizenship required to enter Government sites (preferable)
- Drivers licence (Manual preferable)
- Police check & working with children will be checked
- Hourly rate dependant on experience
SUB-CONTRACTOR position is also available and rates will be discussed upon.
