Due to the company's growth in Victoria, we are on the lookout for an experienced Senior Planning Scheduler based in their Bayswater location. A newly created role with one direct report, this is an exciting role with huge scope for growth and expansion in the coming years.
Please note this is a full-time permanent role with an ASAP start, Mon - Fri, 8AM - 4PM (Flexible) & there is no work from home in this role. This role may relocate to Essendon in the next 12-24 months depending on business needs
Duties include -
- Lead by example & actively work on the warehouse floor, lifting, processing & sorting products
- Develop continuous improvement strategies for the warehouse & team
- Manage the flow of inventory across sites & personnel involved in inwards/outwards transfers of goods
About you:
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the manufacturing/supply chain
• Manage inventory levels and implementation of work schedules for staff and equipment
• Strong understanding of raw materials, ordering and allocation of resources
• Prior experience in production planning and rolling out new systems/processes
• Experience and understanding of industrial cutting machines
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
• A team player who enjoys project ownership with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
