Supported by our Security & Fraud Operations Manager, you'll join a newly created squad within our growing Security team and work alongside other cross-functional security specialists who can help develop your career in this exciting field.
Your Role:
The Senior Security and Fraud Analyst is responsible for protecting the organisation's assets by identifying potential security threats and fraud risks. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Trust is paramount with our members and mitigating fraudulent usage of points will be a large focus of this position. The other aspect being to support the security operations management.
There will also be an on-call element connected with this squad with additional compensation being provided.
There is no typical working week at Flybuys. You'll get broad exposure in this role, but here are some of the things you might be working on, day-to-day;

• Response to security threats, attacks, and similar events. Investigate any security breech and support any investigation of suspected attack.
• Perform routine threat intelligence gathering tasks.
• Contribute to documenting the scope and evaluating the results of vulnerability assessments.
• Investigate fraud or other issues related to digital gift cards.
• Prepare detailed reports on the status of security/Incident response and fraud risks, incidents, and prevention measures.
• Guide junior analysts, share knowledge, and promote a culture of continuous learning within the team.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge and experience Fraud detection and prevention
• Experience with Sentinel, Microsoft defender. ,Sql. Accertify
• Tertiary qualification or Certificates in Cyber Security.
• Relevant experience in Security Operations and technical Security positions.
• Experienced technical background in cloud and digital security (AWS & Azure).
• Knowledge and experience in various SoC domains
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
