Job Description

• Provide technical expertise, contribute to planning, maintenance of operational procedures. Investigates and enables resolution of operational issues, providing reports.
• Undertake and supervises complex installations and de-installations of systems
• Identifies risks that arise from potential technical solutions and designs alternate solutions or mitigations
• Monitor team service delivery metrics against service level agreements. Identify and initiate actions to maintain or improve levels of service
• Diagnose and resolve system issues with on prem infrastructure
• Assist with identifying costs for financial planning, budgeting and facilitate decision-making
• Implement and maintain cyber security protocols, ensuring that all systems are protected from potential threats

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:

• Experience with technologies including but not limited to: Veeam backup & replication, Microsoft Azure and 365 cloud services, VMWare vSphere, Windows Server OS, Windows technologies (Group Policy, Active Directory etc) Hyperconverged Platforms (Cisco HyperFlex, Nutanix AOS), Redhat/Linux, Entra ID,
• A high level of experience across Microsoft SQL (SQL SME)
• A high level of experience with Azure Cloud
• Prior experience in a server administration role focused on on-prem infrastructure
• At least 3 years in an IT infrastructure role
