An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Service Delivery Manager to join our fantastic team based in Forrestfield, Western Australia. The purpose of the role is to establish the Forrestfield Maintenance Facility as a centre of excellence to keep our customers moving. As a senior leader the key to success will be establishing a strong, people-oriented workplace culture while developing and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.
About the role:
- Lead by example in the implementation and improvement of the workplace safety culture
- Promote, create and maintain a safe environment for all employees
- Build a best-in-class service facility and culture providing products and services that are discernibly different to existing competition service standards
- Work with colleagues across the country to develop consistent approaches to service processes and procedures and embed lean principles of production..
- Proactive approach to risk management to identify key challenges and opportunities for operational integration and ensure appropriate mitigation strategies are applied.
- Ensure plans and budgets are developed thoroughly, actively reviewed and monitored with risks and opportunities effectively managed.
- Ensure strong alignment on the national strategic service goals and plans.
- In-conjunction with the business development team, expand market share through new customers/market segments
- Take a development approach to building capability across the team and develop succession plans on each level within the facility team.
About you:
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role ideally within the rail industry or related industry such as logistics, heavy industry or mining environment.
- An ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and influence employees to make sound safe choices.
- Highly organised and deadline focused with the ability to adapt to changes in priorities
- Demonstrated frontline leadership capability including task assignment, problem solving and performance management
- Able to demonstrate your effectiveness in planning and implementing change management processes
