- Salary: AHP3 - $102,641 - $110,094 p.a
- Contracted part-time working 22.5 hours per week up to 12 months
In collaboration with the Refugee Health Service (RHS) team manager this position is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the RHS Allied Health (AH) team clinical care delivery. As a Senior SW AH leader, the SW will be expected to provide leadership, supervision and mentoring within the AH team and will oversee the allocation and prioritization of case load, clinical decision making and provide direct clinical management of complex clients.
The senior SW will contribute expert SW assessment, intervention, advice and education regarding patient care and pathways within the multidisciplinary team and the wider sector. The senior SW will draw on a range of psychological and social work assessment and treatment tools, to help clients understand and cope with daily function and develop sustainable approaches to challenges in their life. This position will form a part of the wider Integrated Care multidisciplinary team with a focus on supporting safe transition and/or hospital avoidance.
Qualifications
Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work required; which entitles full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
