Senior Software Delivery Manager - 12-Month Max-Term Contract

Start your game…As a seasoned Delivery Manager within our incredible Product & Customer Technology teams, you will be tasked with working across cross-functional Software Delivery pods to simultaneously deliver large-scale units of work, as well as mentor and engage the team around you in delivery capability.In this role, you will demonstrate strong capability and expertise in maturing delivery processes within your teams, with a passion for cross-functional collaboration with other key stakeholders to deliver upon the Product and Technical roadmap.Whilst this position is a 12-month Max-Term opportunity; our growth into new markets, alongside our continued approach to deliver market-leading customer experiences and products ensures we are always on the lookout for talent long-term.Where and how you can workThis role is located in Brisbane, Australia, where our headquarters are also situated. • Responsible for the delivery and planning of features and projects within your remit and ensuring high-quality delivery that meets Entain standards.
• Work alongside the other key stakeholders to deliver upon the Product and Technical roadmap by making insightful decisions, managing scope and protecting the people within your remit.
• Responsible for the creation, maintenance and execution of the delivery, stability, and performance metrics across your teams in conjunction with the Product Technology strategic plan.
• Responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the Entain Delivery Framework (ways of thinking and working) within your teams.
• Coaching or mentoring team members and aligning career conversations with key career goals.
• Work with Head of Delivery - Product, Senior Product Managers, and other key stakeholders across the business to manage risks across your mandate.
• Identify capacity risks for your team and pod against proposed road maps.
• Help drive a continuous learning culture across Product Technology and the wider Technology group.
• Assisting the Engineering Managers in the discovery and technical solutions process that supports the Discovery phase of the Product roadmap.

What you’ll bring...

• Previous experience as a Delivery Manager/Lead within an enterprise Software Delivery environment is ideal.
• Demonstrated experience delivering and managing large software teams.
• Technical understanding and or background is advantageous in our working environment.
