About the Role:
Join Opticomm's dynamic team as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in our systems integration function. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying our OSS/BSS stack. Additionally, you will support various stakeholders with project-related activities and manage the daily operations of our Telco systems, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Design, develop, and manage the OSS/BSS stack
- Test new software for network integration
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on system requirements
- Design, develop, deploy, and manage application enhancements and upgrades
- Create automated tests
- Manage and provide direction for the application team in support of business operations
- Maintenance of Operational Support for OSS/BSS systems
- Review and action RSP and internal tickets
- Keep internal documentation up to date and expand the internal Wiki
- Manage source control of software

Essential Experience:
- Degree in computer systems design or computer science, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions
- Proficiency in PHP8
- Extensive experience with Laravel Framework
- Current proficiency in frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and a modern JavaScript framework
- Familiarity with PSR standards, PHPDoc comment styles, PHP8 or Hack
- Knowledge of Composer and commonly used PHP libraries
- Experience in developing and implementing APIs (REST/SOAP/etc.)
- Proficient in Git basics: clone, branch, commit, merge
- Telco experience (ISP or Wholesale)
