We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer in Poland to join the team to improve the tool and increase the adoption across Zendesk. You will be working with a group of highly skilled engineers with high autonomy building tools which will be used by the engineers every day to develop the Zendesk product.

Build and support tools to simplify development and build processes
Collaborate with users to improve the tool based on their feedback
Lead projects and feature development along with other engineers in the team
Look for opportunities to optimize for speed of launches, cost of environment
Mentor engineers in the team through pairing and code reviews
Share knowledge and learnings across the organization
What you bring to the role:
Required:
Ability to transform visions & roadmaps into reality.
You love problem-solving, investigating issues and discovering the appropriate solution
Good understanding of Kubernetes, or orchestrating Docker containers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Expert knowledge in and strong hands-on experience with application configuration, infrastructure, automation, and operations.
Tactics and strategies for engineering productivity internal products to highly technical users in a large multi-product SaaS organization.
Experience with infrastructure management tools (Chef, Terraform).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker).
Ability to collaborate with remote teams.
Nice to have:
Experience with languages Go and Javascript
Experience with templating tools like Helm, Jsonnet, Cuelang
Experience with data analytics
Passion or experience working with large language models (e.g. ChatGPT)

The Poland annualized base salary range for this position is zł198,000.00-zł340,000.00. Please note that while the salary range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rate for this position, the actual compensation offered will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives that will be communicated during the offer stage.Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
