I-MED Radiology Network is Australia's largest and a global leader of diagnostic imaging, with circa 5,000 employees, located in more than 240 clinics across metropolitan, regional, and rural communities throughout Australia. About The Role
As a Senior Software Specialist, you will be responsible for the analysis, delivery and support of our digital applications and related projects. You will provide technical guidance to the business to ensure high quality solutions are delivered, whilst ensuring application availability, reliability, and performance.
You will bring a positive, dedicated and forward-thinking approach. Your enthusiasm and desire to provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers will ensure your success in the role.
Key accountabilities include:
- Ensure that applications are developed, administered, and managed in accordance with business requirements
- Ensure all designated applications, including their data sources, are running optimally
- Manage delivery of application upgrades and enhancements
- Provide 2nd level support for digital applications and manage escalations with vendors
- Provide input into solution design and architectural decisions
- Review business requirements to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are written for completeness
- Identify opportunities for improvement across the software delivery process
Key selection criteria:
- Previous experience working in a similar role in IT (business analyst, developer, etc)
- Technical knowledge of web applications and related infrastructure
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with application troubleshooting and providing application support
- Knowledge of servers, databases and/or programming languages desirable
- Experience working within a healthcare environment would be beneficial
