The OpportunityAs a
Senior Solutions Architect at Gentrack, you will assume a leadership position, guiding the design and delivery of sophisticated technical solutions for our clients' projects. Your role involves overseeing and enhancing the technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring alignment with enterprise and application architecture principles. Leading by example, you will contribute to the development of "best of breed" implementation and project delivery processes. Collaboration with project teams, internal stakeholders, and customers is crucial as you define requirements, specify optimal designs, and provide technical expertise. Your influence will extend to motivating and mentoring team members, contributing significantly to project proposals, and maintaining long-term business relationships with customers.In addition, you will;
- Support the Global Sustainability Task Force (GSTF) for your respective region. Enable your people to engage and partake in events.
- Encourage awareness of and behaviours aligned to our Sustainability Charter.
- Utilise our sustainability platform (Giki) by taking part in challenges and improving behaviours to be more sustainable. Driving competition and supporting your teams to engage.
The Specifics- Lead the technical aspects of project delivery, including analysis, design, programming, and testing.
- Provide comprehensive technical architecture oversight and review proposed solutions.
- Generate high-quality architecture and design artifacts as project deliverables.
- Spearhead the enhancement and maintenance of implementation and project delivery processes.
- Stay abreast of Gentrack's business plans, products, and upcoming developments.
- Offer expert technical and product consulting both internally and externally.
- Collaborate closely with customers and other Architects to define project requirements and optimal design solutions.
- Motivate, lead, and mentor team members at all levels to elevate technical expertise across Gentrack's professional services.
- Play a key role in maintaining and improving staff recovery levels on projects.
- Contribute significantly to the preparation of project proposals and protect project budgets through adherence to project scope.
What we're looking for (you don’t need to be a guru at all, we’re looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you):
- Minimum of 8 years' proven experience in a leadership capacity for large implementation projects.
- Extensive expertise in enterprise solutions within software development.
- In-depth knowledge of SDLC and Project Methodologies.
- Industry proficiency in Software and Utilities.
- Demonstrated positive and constructive attitude, coupled with a passion for excellence.
- High levels of energy, sound judgment, and determination with a sense of urgency.
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective relationship management skills.
- Open-minded consultative approach and adept at creative problem-solving.
- Currently holding a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Science, or Software Engineering.
- Advanced skills in programming, technical design, and architectural oversight.
