Speech and Language Pathologists working with DECYP play a key role supporting students' communication and learning in Tasmanian schools.
About the role
You will lead a team of Speech and Language Pathologists providing professional advice and clinical services to support students and families. You will draw on your expertise and experience to provide clinical supervision, mentoring and support to your team. You will lead change to build the capacity of school communities to improve students' access, participation, and achievement.
Period of Appointment: Ongoing - ASAP start date
Hours per fortnight: Up to 76 hours per fortnight
Salary: $121,224 - 127,961 (per annum), + 10.5% Superannuation

Essential Requirements

• A degree in speech pathology from a university, Institute of Technology or College of Advanced Education or an equivalent award from a recognised overseas institution.
• The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. A regulated activity is a child related service or activity defined in the Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Regulations 2014. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of this may be checked at any time during employment.

• Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).

Desirable Requirements

• A current driver's licence.
