The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior Spray Seal Supervisor to join our QLD Spray Seal business. Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful applicant will lead, supervise, and control various projects, manage client stakeholders and report on business performance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Overall supervision of the QLD Spray Seal operations
• Regularly visit QLD Spray seal crews and conduct inspections of Spray Seal projects
• Participate in the planning and programming of works
• Liaise with Estimators to ensure operational input into Spray Seal tenders 
• Work with Operations Manager, Project Managers and Engineers to ensure communication of project specific objectives and mitigate risk and maximise revenue on Spray Seal projects
• Provide technical advice to Managers on Spray Seal activities
• Ensure quality of workmanship to minimise rework, customer/public complaints
• Monthly reporting on project performance with respect to targets, objectives, and programs
• Review skills of current teams and look to upskill through the implementation of a suitable training and development plan
• Other duties as required

Skills and experience:

• Extensive supervisory experience in the Spray Seal industry is essential
• White Card
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Ability to travel as required
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Able to handle multiple responsibilities
