Your new company
Our client are a well-established maintenance technology organisation whom has been providing high level technical services for mining and heavy engineering industries. They have developed a real time monitoring solutions to manage the structural integrity of various mining equipment, with a focus towards improving reliability and productivity. Due to their strategic growth, they seeking a Senior Engineer to work with one of their largest clients, providing expertise, solutions and project management that will see the projects delivered to a high standard.

Your new role
You will report to the Division Director and supervise one technician. You will work closely with the client to understand and deliver solutions which will impact the way they work going forward. You will be responsible for managing the full project cycle, managing analysis, instrumentation, and maintenance projects form conception to final delivery. Your expert advice on dragline capacity, maintenance prediction, I&R Manager, fracture mechanics and crack growth rate calculation will see you excel in this role.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate high levels of experience in steel structures, specifically within the mining industry. Your proven track record in understanding and capabilities in stress and structural analysis, finite element analysis (Ansys) and fatigue of welded steel structures will allow you to offer expert advice throughout the project life cycle. You will be the key point of contact for the client and will therefore need to be able to build strong working relationships which benefit both the company and client, and allow for on-going collaboration.
