The role
We are currently looking for a Senior Associate Engineer– Water Infrastructure to join our Sydney business. The successful candidate will have a good base of Water and Wastewater structures detailed design experience with a passion and willingness to expand your experience and knowledge.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil /Structural Engineering and a minimum of 15+ years of industry experience, this role will include:
- Technical delivery, project management and client relationship management across Water Infrastructure projects
- Strong structural design experience for water and wastewater network and or treatment facilities i.e. water retaining tank structures, water transfer facilities, concrete slabs, piles, equipment pedestals, pipe supports, budlings
- Contributing to bid preparation and providing technical input across all disciplines
- Guiding design modelers and drafters to produce structural models and drawings that are to client’s expectations of specifications/standards/code of practice
- Coordinating requirements with other disciplines such as process, geotechnical, civil, electrical, mechanical and materials engineers
- Apply project management principles in carrying out assigned tasks and accomplish project deliverables to the required standard and in a timely manner
- Guiding and mentoring junior team members
With a track record of achievement in a similar role, you will have preferably gained your experience in an engineering design consultancy and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
