The Tasmanian University Student Association is a vibrant and contemporary representative organisation that enables all University of Tasmania students to have a voice and shape their university experience. The Senior Student Experience & Events Officer (SSEEO) will champion and lead opportunities for brand exposure through events, activities, initiatives, and programs to the students at UTAS as well as Alumni and the broader community. The SSEEO will aim to engage in a cycle of continuous improvement and positive change in this new era, through the implementation of a comprehensive, engaging, dynamic events, activities, initiatives, and engagement program at the TUSA.
In addition, the SSEEO is responsible and accountable for the development and execution of the TUSA event program in southern Tasmania and play a supporting role for the North, and North-West.
The SSEEO will drive the development, coordination, and delivery of events & activities; and ensure effective on-brand programs, events, and initiatives with UTAS students, and other key stakeholders.
The SSEEO role is a Statewide role based in Sandy Bay at the TUSA offices and may require travel between UTAS campuses. Due to the nature of this role, it will require out-of-working hours. The SSEEO is expected to provide heightened levels of support to the executive team, working across the resources within the team to deliver strategic and operational priorities.
This role is 0.8 FTE. The salary is $64,264.28 for 0.8 FTE based on $80,330.34 full time rate, plus super.
