About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to work on a number of large ongoing defence projects in Katherine. This role can be fulfilled as a FIFO role from any major Australian airport.

About you:
Qualifications:
A bachelor degree in Surveying.
Demonstrated experience:
- Seven years plus in a similar role within Australia;
- Competent operation of Leica GNSS and Total Station;
- Competent in using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Competent technical ability, including;
- establish survey control;
- calculate set-out models, including surfaces, alignments etc.;
- complete accurate set-out of earthworks, concrete, bolts and structures; and
- provide conformance, as-built and volume reports as required.
- Promote positive, safe, work practices.
Demonstrated personal qualities, skills and abilities:
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to ensure effective two-way communication when consulting and communicating with clients to understand and achieve their requirements;
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a small team in a high pressure environment;
- High level verbal reasoning skills; and
- Strong written communication ability.
Required Certificates, Licences and Registrations:
- Ability to obtain an Australian Defence Pass;
- 'C' Class driver licence;
- Valid White Card;
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates; and
- Full Australian work rights.
