Our Govt. client is seeking an experienced Senior Sustainable Transport Officer ECE for a new program of work, investigate and deliver the appropriate infrastructure/asset response across the state.
About the Project:
Universal Pre-Kindergarten is the centrepiece of the Department's investment of $5.8 billion to introduce a new universal pre-Kindergarten year in the year before primary school, for every child by the end of the decade.
To achieve this Statutory Planning support is needed to investigate and deliver the appropriate infrastructure/asset response across the state.
Hence, helping to understand the best ways to introduce universal pre-Kindergarten by the end of the decade, in 2030.
Deliverables:
- Attend Rapid Transport Assessment inception meeting
- Facilitate internal conversations with the consultant and internal Project Director, Project Manager and Project Officer
- Participate in project team discussions with the transport planning consultants and other technical services
- Convene the Transport Working Group for the local council(s) and Transport for NSW teams
- Review transport planning consultant deliverables for compliance
- Review other consultant deliverables such as:
- (Master Plan, Concept Design, Cost Plan A, Cost Plan B, Business Case)
- (Schematic Design, Detailed Design, EIS, Response to Submissions, Community Engagement)
- Attend Benefits Realisation meetings
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- A Critical Thinker
- Due Diligence
- Desktop Validation
- Experience with Transport planning / traffic engineering
- Good Communication Skills
