About The Role: 
As the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be a pivotal member of the OIR Human Resources team. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing attraction, recruitment, selection and onboarding processes. You will support hiring managers and selection panels in understanding and executing workforce planning strategies to secure the talent necessary to achieve strategic objectives. Additionally, you will work closely with our procurement and strategic communications teams to procure advertising and panel support, develop campaigns to reach key cohorts, and identify specialist capability.

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, this role has no direct reports, and works closely with our Senior HR Business Partners and HR Services team to drive excellent in our Talent Acquisition and HR practices. 


Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert advice and business partnering on attraction, recruitment and selection strategies and processes with hiring managers, including continuous applicant pools for large cohorts and individual processes for specialists and niche roles. 
• Draw on Talent Acquisition and management knowledge, workforce data and other information sources to identify, develop and implement long term strategies to address emerging workforce issues and build OIR workforce capability, staff engagement and culture.
• Lead reviews and implementation of HR policies and procedures to that implement effective onboarding, talent and recruitment strategies and processes.
• Partner with the OIR Strategic Communications unit to manage recruitment campaigns for inspector cohorts and enhance use of continuous applicant pools, ensuring employees are recruited in time to commence critical induction programs.
• Partner with Senior HR Business Partners, the OIR HR Services team, hiring managers and other key internal stakeholders to develop and implement onboarding programs, guide recruitment and selection plans and activities including enhancing the use of contemporary and best practice assessment methods
• Liaise with external stakeholders including Queensland Shared Services and LinkedIn representatives to develop and streamline Talent Acquisition and recruitment and selection systems and processes that enable the OIR to meet legislative requirements, including obligations for equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
• Educate, influence and coach internal stakeholders to implement onboarding, Talent Acquisition and selection strategies and guide effective management of these practices. 
• Work with Senior HR Business Partners to develop recruitment strategies to support implementation of organisational change and transformation programs. 
• Collaborate and contribute to the effective delivery of HR solutions, including improving the use of HR metrics to inform and drive business improvement.
