Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant for a 3-month contract role (with the option to go perm) with extensive experience in managing the complete FBT process, including experience with BAS, Payroll Tax, and audit processes. Your expertise will drive compliance excellence and strategic tax planning initiatives. 
  
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee tax compliance activities for the organization.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support tax planning initiatives.
- Assist in resolving tax-related issues and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to the team.
  
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in taxation, with a focus on compliance and advisory.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with senior team members.
