We are recruiting for a leading accounting firm that provides a range of services to individuals and businesses across various industries. They are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team and take charge of complex tax matters for their clients.
As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns, financial statements, and BAS for clients
- Providing tax advice and planning strategies to clients
- Researching and resolving tax issues and queries
- Liaising with the ATO and other authorities on behalf of clients
- Mentoring and supervising junior staff members
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Australian tax accounting firm
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA or CA qualification or working towards it
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and positive attitude
