Senior Tennis Coach

OVERVIEW

Opportunity for a Senior position in Canberra, ACT. The advertised coaching positions will involve approximately 33-hours on court activities and 5 hours of off court activities between Monday to Saturday.

The successful applicant will lead tennis coaching, competition and club programs at Tennis Canberra venues plus provide tennis programs at supplementary Tennis Canberra schools within the Canberra region.

We are seeking an outgoing, friendly club coach with 2 years (minimum) of national or international tennis coaching experience plus a Tennis Australia Junior Development Coaching Certificate (minimum) or the intention of attaining this Certificate at the earliest practical opportunity.

The position advertised are Canberra-based but the coach must be willing to travel to events and activities hosted by Tennis Canberra at other locations in Australia if required.

A Senior Coaching Role will consist predominantly of:

– ANZ Hot Shots Coaching and Schools Coaching
– Junior Development
– Kids Holiday Programs
– Adult Coaching and Private Lesson
– Organisation of Tennis Competitions & Events

Salary: Starting at $53,900 - $70,000 (plus superannuation)

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to provide proof of coaching experience, references and Working With Children Checks
