As Senior Territory Manager within our spinal team you will work closely with our Enabling Technologies team on a day to day basis. You will have a competitive advantage leveraging the extensive footprint of Spinal Robotics, Navigation and Intra-operative Imaging in Queensland. As a trusted partner to surgeons, you are passionate about expanding and developing Medtronic market share across a broad range of surgical specialities.

A Day in the Life

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this exciting role based in Brisbane, will see you use your high degree of commercial acumen and the ability to drive your own success, grow market share and achieve sales revenues.

Primary responsibilities are:

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve or exceed sales targets while maintaining a professional image for Medtronic in the marketplace

Provide regular, meaningful and concise reports to the Regional Sales Manager

Support theatre cases and provide training and education effectively to all clinical end users and hospital staff on our products – products updates, trial and in-services

Gather market intelligence by observation, discussion or research

Identify, establish and maintain productive working relationships with key customers

Ensure the highest level of product and technical knowledge is attained and maintained

Recognize and understand competitive products, features, strengths in relation to the company’s products

Actively seek to develop and expand on territory management and selling skills

Work individually and as part of the wider team to establish and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders

Must-Have:

Several jurisdictions across Australia have established mandatory requirements for healthcare workers and others working in health care settings to be vaccinated with at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. To be eligible to apply and be considered for this role, Medtronic Australasia requires candidates to meet the conditions of the relevant and current Government directions (including Public Health Orders). The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of vaccination before an appointment.

Bachelor's Degree

Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record in the medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry

A current driver’s license and travel may be required
