The City is looking for an experienced Senior Urban Planner to
join our team. You will have strong strategic thinking, research
and analysis skills, an excellent understanding of the Western
Australian planning system and take pride in delivering quality
work. Experience in many aspects of strategic planning and a
track record in delivery is what we are looking for. For the
right candidate we’re open minded to discussing flexible
working arrangements.
Your focus will be:
Leading on projects that help to implement our Local
Planning Strategy through preparation and implementation of
planning directions such as community infrastructure planning,
precinct planning, Local Development Plans and planning
studies.
Preparing complex scheme amendments and planning
policies.
Preparing formal submissions to State Government on matters
affecting the city.
Providing professional strategic planning expertise to the
organisation.
Supervising external consultants to deliver the
City’s projects both on time and on budget.
