Our client is a highly successful contract manufacturer of premium skincare, sunscreens, and personal care products. They are currently seeking an experienced Validation Chemist for their site in Somersby, New South Wales.
The successful candidate will focus on developing, implementing, and transferring analytical test methods in line with GLP, TGA and APVMA requirements.
Job Description:
- Overseeing the development and validation associated with HPLC, GC and UPLC equipment to ensure manufactured products meet customer and regulatory specifications.
- Design and complete validation protocols in line with GLP, TGA and APVMA requirements to improve turnaround time and reduce costs of external testing.
- Provide technical summaries and reports, including recommendations where appropriate, on improvement opportunities, troubleshooting and technical advice.
- Validation of laboratory equipment in line with regulatory requirements and manufacturers to ensure analysis is accurate and repeatable.
- 5 + years of experience in analytical method development within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all method development, documents and requirements comply with various regulatory bodies and customer specifications.
- Capacity to critically analyse processes, statistics, and regulation to design robust systems and methods for the analysis of products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver reports and recommendations.

- Experience with Empower software will be highly regarded.
