THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a dedicated customer service superstar to join our close-knit team in the role of Senior Venue Attendant and join our close-knit team on a casual basis at our indoor playcentre, Major Fun, located in our superb venue Harbord Diggers in Freshwater, NSW!    

As a Senior Venue Attendant, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations as well as leading and supporting the team to ensure memorable moments are made for the children and families that visit the venue.

More specifically, your duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Coordinate children’s parties and school holiday activities
  • Attend to customers to ensure the ultimate customer service experience is delivered
  • Manage customer concerns or issues that arise
  • Assist with the management of inventory
  • Support the implementation of marketing and promotional strategies within the centre
  • Supervise staff and provide training and development where necessary
  • Assist with the coordination of rosters ensuring operational needs are met

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience working within the hospitality industry or food & beverage operation
  • Demonstrate superior customer service skills with the ability to effectively resolve customer concerns in a prompt manner
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check – or willing to obtain
  • Ability to work a flexible roster including weekends, school holidays and public holidays
