This role supports material logistics services ensuring the control and flow of goods, services, and information from origin through to delivery to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management, including stock accounting and inspections.
- Warehouse activities including storage, material receipt, packaging, dispatch, and housekeeping.
- Freight and Distribution activities.
- Support Material management planning and scheduling.
- Participate in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) consultation, risk assessment and control.
- Participate in material logistic systems process improvements.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:- Requires a Certificate II in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport or Distribution, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of four (4) years relevant experience in a similar role.
- A broad knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
- Forklift and Order Picker High Risk Licence.
- Basic understanding of handling and managing Dangerous Goods.
- Understanding / awareness of Chain of Responsibility – National Heavy Vehicle Law.
