The Web Developer will be required to design, develop, integrate, test, and support software applications for embedded systems.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in translating customer requirements into fit-for-purpose design and end-product artefacts.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated experience with front-end JavaScript web development frameworks – e.g. React
- Demonstrated experience with back-end architectural styles – e.g. REST
- Demonstrated experience with Client-side technologies – HTML, JavaScript, CSS
- Proficient with Python3, Linux systems administration, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tooling and practices
- Under broad direction, perform software development activities surrounding the improvement of existing and development of new web applications for embedded systems.
- Elicit and transform customer requirements into design artefacts.
- Follow team/industry best practices in relation to technology choices, architectural styles and design patterns.
- Implement software unit/integration tests and build scripts.
Contract terms: Contract term of 12 months, not exceeding 30 June 2025 will be considered.
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: Current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.
