Job description

In the role of Senior Workforce Attraction Advisor, you will develop and execute a critical program of work relating to attraction strategies aimed at increasing the number of early childhood teachers and educators working in South Australia.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, including universities and TAFE SA, to align messaging and campaigns with communication strategies, leveraging market testing, department market research and sector insights to ensure impact and effectiveness.

Your marketing and communications expertise will be instrumental in understanding the needs and preferences of diverse audiences, applying best practice marketing and attraction techniques, and effectively utilising a variety of channels, including digital, to reach potential candidates.

You will have demonstrated experience leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making, track campaign performance and optimise strategies for maximum impact. Your ability to build strong relationships internally and externally will be key in this role, as you will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration. 

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience:

  • A minimum of five years' experience developing and executing attraction strategies, preferably within the education sector.
  • A strong track record in marketing and communications, with the ability to understand the needs and preferences of diverse audiences.
  • Experience in leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making, track campaign performance, and optimise strategies for maximum impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, and work closely with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of the early childhood education sector would be highly beneficial.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and insights.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and the use of a variety of channels to reach potential candidates.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

As the steward of the early childhood development system, the Office will act on government's behalf, and work in collaboration with the sector, to organise and connect the system to reduce developmental vulnerability. 

This includes strategy for the provision of quality preschool for all three and four-year-olds, supporting for families in the first 1000 days of a child's life and implementing a workforce strategy. 

Special Conditions:

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN  -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
