Salary AHP-3 $101,124/$108,467 p.a.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Clinical/Health Psychologist to join the multidisciplinary Chronic Heart Failure team based at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will provide a range of services supporting patients to manage their heart condition including assessments of patients' needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of interventions to patients and their families. You will also be involved in facilitating groups, pre-transplant assessments and home visits. Enthusiastic AHP2s are also welcome to apply.
The CALHN Psychology Department provides a supportive and collegial environment in which to develop and strengthen your clinical knowledge and skills, and within the Chronic Heart Failure Service you will work with a collaborative and innovative team with opportunities for participating in quality improvement projects and ongoing training and development.
You must hold an appropriate degree (Master's Degree in Clinical or Health Psychology) or equivalent qualification recognised by the Psychology Board of Australian (PsyBA) and have general registration with PsyBA. To be eligible for AHP3, you must also be endorsed in either Clinical or Health Psychology, and be a board-approved supervisor at all levels.
