As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an organised self-starter who is not afraid to both roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty as well as being able to provide administrative support to the Service and Hire team. This is a full time, entry-level position, ideal for a recent school leaver, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth and development within our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Fulfilling client equipment hire requests, including gathering all relevant equipment required and packaging ready to be dispatched to the client or collected.
  • Conducting technical check of all returning hire equipment, ensuring satisfactory working order prior to receipting back into stock.
  • Providing administrative support to the Service and Hire department, including answering client queries, logging equipment into the relevant internal data base/system, following up clients, filing etc.
  • Conducting timely client deliveries and pickups of service equipment as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Uphold safety standards and follow proper handling procedures for materials and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training.
  • Must be prepared to obtain a forklift licence (we will pay for this).
  • Sound computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems (training will be provided).
  • Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy loads.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently when required and willing to learn and take instruction.

If you are both mechanically minded and have decent administration skills, are passionate about providing excellent customer service, like variety and are looking to kick-start your career with a rapidly growing local business, then we would love to hear from you! If this sounds like you, please send your CV to ******@wess.com.au by no later than Friday, 15 March 2024.
