We are now looking for passionate Service Centre Technician II who would be directly responsible for the execution of quality and efficient services.
This position of Service Center Technician reports to Service Centre Manager in Sydney, Australia.
You are an individual that has:
Ability to communicate with all internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent customer relationship skills and flair for maintaining relationships and working across different cultures.
Ability to fault find and diagnose machine or process related problems.
Agile and positive mindset when it comes to challenges.
Proficient in Microsoft suite applications
Excellent oral and written English language skills.

You will be working with our Western Australia team mainly on heat exchangers (GPHE and WHE) ensuring reliable operation, optimum performance and efficiency.
Key Tasks
Secure a strong HSE and quality culture within the Service Centre.
Perform hands on activities related to Heat Exchanger reconditioning including disassembly, inspection, cleaning, assembly, and pressure testing of the GPHE and WHE units.
Report the technical findings on the different inspection along the job and establish reports.
Adapt quickly availability of internal and external resources based on customer demands.
Ensure that jobs are executed according to importance in close cooperation with sales and that deviations are reported quickly.
Share knowledge and support in competence development.
Suggest improvements for products and working procedures.
Execute repairs and reconditioning of equipment in service centre according to specifications, repair manuals and the defined job scope.
Be engaged in problem resolution, suggesting & implementing improvements for products, tools and working procedures.
What you Know
Mechanical Engineering qualification(s), or equivalent.
Welding qualifications would be an advantage.
Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Alfa Laval products especially heat exchangers would be an advantage, but not essential.
