About the Role
With work across the Adelaide Metro area and working with one of Adelaide’s leading commercial electrical companies, Techforce currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, A-grade Service Electrician that is looking to utilise their industry expertise and skills. Role on offer will have a view to permanency for the right candidate.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems using testing equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdowns.
- Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Supervise, direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures from time to time.
- A requirement to perform shift, overtime, weekend and living away work as required.
Skills and Experience
- 1st & 2nd Fix.
- Terminations. LV & HV
- Install of cable tray and ladder.
- Installation and upgrades of switchboards.
- Running of cables.
- Sub mains
- Cable pulls
- UPS
To be successful, you MUST HAVE :
- A Class Electrical Licence
- LVR / CPR Certificate
- Ability to work autonomously
- White Card.
- Current drivers’ licence.
- DCSI & National police clearance or be willing to obtain
