Service Technician – Mobility Equipment

Fisher Lane Mobility are a leading provider of quality equipment and service to the healthcare industry and to the general public. We offer sales, hire & repair across a range of products including wheelchairs, walkers, beds, scooters, aids to daily living and much more!
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a new team member to bring on board as a Service technician, previous experience in the field is not required but of course regarded highly, transferable skills would also assist with our training schedule. The role will be based mainly on road with some time in our Abbotsford workshop, initially with support and then autonomously once we complete training.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills. We need clear communication to our internal team as well as clear communication to our clients, along with empathy and a willingness to go above and beyond to help our clients.
Reports need to be generated for each job so confidence using a smartphone app and a computer is required.

How You Will Spend Your Day
- Diagnosing and executing repairs & modification to mobility equipment
- Getting out on the road for urgent repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Working on preventative maintenance & repairs of our extensive rental fleet
- Test & Tag may be required at some jobs (course and training provided)
- Completing customer/OT reports using Flowfinity App (phone and computer based)
- At times you’ll be called on to deliver and install sales orders, or any number of other tasks to assist the company as a whole
- There may be some paid over-time required (Mon – Fri) for urgent client repairs. We do our best to avoid this and share it around within the team but we are here to help.

All Sounding Great?
You also need a current Victorian drivers licence to fulfil this position, manual is preferred but we will accommodate if you don’t do gears!
You need to prove your right to Work In Australia
You will need to pass a police check, working with children’s check and relevant NDIS training modules
