The Brisbane campus began operations in 2006 and is one of the four campuses of JCU.
We are seeking applications for Sessional Lecturers/ and or markers to complement our teaching staff in the following undergraduate and postgraduate disciplines:
- Tourism and Hospitality
- Accounting
- Business/Management/Leadership (including specific teaching areas such as Marketing; Economics; Sustainability; Entrepreneurship; Law).
- Project management
- IT
- Education
- Engineering
- A Ph.D. or a Masters degree plus experience in industry practice.
- Demonstrated capacity and experience in university teaching.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a collegial manner and contribute to the positive culture and aspirations of both the JCU Colleges and the Brisbane campus, including collaborating with other staff, and liaison with industry partners.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and publish quality research, with evidence of high-quality papers in national and international conferences or journals; or experience in industry practice that involves original applied research (desirable).
