ACAP, The Australian College of Applied Professions, is Australia's leading independent provider of tertiary education, delivering accredited courses in psychology, counselling, coaching, criminology, social work, law, and business management and leadership (MBA).

ACAP is seeking experienced Counselling Lecturers to deliver weekly synchronous online tutorials, plus 2-day on-campus workshops and weekly on-campus classes from our Adelaide Campus.

Delivering the following subjects:

  • Counselling skills and theories
  • Counselling ethics and diversity
  • Grief
  • Groupwork

Essential criteria for candidates includes;

  • Tertiary Counselling Qualifications, at minimum Master of Counselling.
  • Subject matter expertise in the above-mentioned subjects.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of a relevant professional association such as PACFA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years industry experience as a practicing Counsellor.
  • Experience teaching in a tertiary environment.
  • Available to teach from the Adelaide Campus, this is not a remote opportunity.
