About the Role:This position involves tutoring in the subjects ARC 313 Architectural Communications 3 in the Bachelor of Applied Architecture.
These classes are delivered on Mondays 2pm-5pm and are conducted face to face on campus.
Duties:- Deliver subject content as per the approved Student Subject Outline for ARC 313.
- Constructively engage with students and identify students who might be at risk.
- Prepare minor subject and material updates as required.
- Supervise students during occasional excursions and site visits.
- Liaise with the Head or Program and/or Coordinator to discuss progress in subject delivery to avoid potential problems.
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee).
- Masters Degree in Architecture, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated Higher Education teaching experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to architectural education, with an ability to engage with students and display leadership ability.
- Demonstrated ability in Rhinoceros / Adobe Suite / Twin Motion and/or other architectural rendering packages.
- Minimum 5 years employment in architectural practice (desirable).
- Connections to the architectural profession (desirable).
- Demonstrated current scholarship in relevant areas, on in Non-Traditional Research Outputs.
