Our Clinic Nurses work collaboratively with Medical Practitioners to deliver high quality Sexual and reproductive health care to those people accessing Family Planning Tasmania clinics.

Key services provided by our Clinic Nurses include cervical screening, STI screening, pregnancy options discussions, medication termination of pregnancy appointments, assisting with IUD procedures, infection control, communicating results and recalls and providing telephone advice.

Sexual health rights are at the core of everything we do at Family Planning Tasmania.  We strongly believe that accessing quality Sexual and reproductive healthcare and education is a fundamental human right.

Family Planning Tasmania supports over 16,000 patients a year to improve their Sexual and reproductive health through its state-wide clinics in Glenorchy, Launceston and Burnie.
