Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SharePoint Developer for a 6-month contract role with a financial client, with a strong possibility of extension. The ideal candidate should be based in Melbourne, though candidates from Sydney are also welcome to apply.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and lead projects using the SPFX Framework and client/server side object modelling.
- Provide consulting, innovation, and project services across SharePoint Online and related technologies in a large organisation.
- Work with the Microsoft 365 collaboration stack, including Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Participate in large-scale SharePoint Online and OneDrive environment rollouts, intranet portal development, and ongoing support.
- Offer SharePoint Online app support to end users.
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps aligned to enterprise strategy, operational metrics, and platform practices.
- Exhibit strong technical and thought leadership.
- Build effective, trusted relationships in a collaborative and engaging manner with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Design, configure, integrate, test, release, maintain, and support SharePoint Online apps using Vscode.
- Define and implement various levels of Office 365 security features, including multifactor authentication, conditional access policy, DLPs, and rules-based filtering.
- Exhibit a willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies, bringing benefits into the team.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and manage customer and stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Work in an Agile environment, supporting DevOps and continuous rollout.

Must-Have Skills
- SharePoint SPFX Application Development: Proficiency in SharePoint Online development using SPFX (Web Parts, components).
- Technical Skills in React.js, Node.js, Typescript, CSS/SCSS, jQuery, GitHub
- Experience with SharePoint on-prem (2016) development.
- Hands on experience in M365 search and SharePoint Online Administration.
- Developing code using .NET (ASP.NET, C#), Visual Studio.
- Experience in Office 365 open APIs, MS Teams, and Graph APIs for integrating SharePoint Online and other systems.
