An enthusiastic station hand, ideally with some sheep experience required to join a team lamb marking on a large sheep and cropping farm in Western Victoria.
With an emphasis on stock work, helping feed and move mobs of sheep across the farm and through the yards, other duties will likely include:
- All aspects of sheep husbandry
- Fencing and general upkeep of infrastructure around the farm
- Operation and maintenance of all farm machinery eg. Tractors, front-end loaders, telehandlers, utes, ATVs & UTVs etc.
- Potential to stay on and assist with mowing and baling of hay and straw, stacking and transporting
- Ability to work autonomously as part of a larger team
Remuneration
A competitive remuneration package is on offer for the successful applicants. Excellent accommodation will be provided on farm. Own vehicle is preferred.
