BK Industrial Group Pty Ltd is in a state of growth within Australia and are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic team players to join our Ingleburn based team as a Sheet metal worker.

BK Industrial Group is an Australian owned company with over 30 years of engineering & fabrication experience. BK Industrial Group provides an array of services with a key focus on project management, fabrication, installation, and plant maintenance ensuring projects are conducted and delivered with integrity and to the highest standards to ensure success of every project. With a diverse range of projects, both workshop and site, no two days are the same.

Essential Criteria

• Australian Trade Certificate
• 10 years post trade experience
• White card
• Utilise your trade expertise in fabrication and welding on materials from 0.5 to12mm thickness.
• Previous experience in Mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium and stainless-steel tube preferred.
• Demonstrate a high standard of skills and craftsmanship in all tasks within the sheet metal industry.
• Excellent TIG and MIG welding skills, with orbital welding skills as an advantage.
• Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately.
• Ability to develop patterns such as bends, tees, cones, square to rounds etc.
• Must have an understanding of workshop machinery, power tools and equipment including press brake operation, with water jet cutting an advantageous.
• Positive approach to multiple tasks and ability to handle pressure at various times.
• Work independently and unsupervised, showcasing your initiative and problem-solving  abilities.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Be open to learning new skills and techniques to enhance your proficiency in the field.
• Effective time management with the ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Valid Driver’s license and forklift ticket
• Confined space and working at heights an advantage. 
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be able to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test.
