AddressSuccessful candidates will be experienced in the Sheet Metal process worker or light fabrication. This role would suit someone with strong attention to detail, able to perform precision work.
Duties include:
- Proficiency in shaping and forming cut metal stock into products using folding and bending machines, rollers, presses and hammers
- Setout, cutting, folding, welding, grinding and clean-up.
- Understanding of safety procedures and the ability to perform the physical aspects of the job including lifting
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and within a team
- Ensure all work carried out in accordance with workshop drawings and applicable work instructions.
- Must be able to work both autonomously and collectively to meet tight deadlines.
In addition, it would be advantageous to have:
- Forklift Licence
Ordinary hours are 38 hours per week, 7am-3:30 pm from Monday to Friday.
